I finally visited the long-awaited "Tonkatsu Narikura." What surprised me first was the beautiful, white coating unique to Narikura. It had a light, crispy texture with almost no greasiness, giving me a completely different impression from any tonkatsu I’ve had before. The meat was astonishingly tender, and with each bite, the rich flavor of the pork and the sweetness of the fat spread across my palate. The tenderloin, in particular, was moist and cooked to perfection. The coating didn’t overpower the dish, allowing me to truly savor the deliciousness of the meat itself. It felt more like enjoying a course of meat dishes rather than just having tonkatsu. While it’s not exactly budget-friendly, I believe it’s worth trying at least once. I would definitely like to return, even if it means making a reservation.
