I visited Yakitori Omino today (*^^*)I think the head chef was absent today, as the grill master was different.Here’s what I had:Liver with WasabiChicken HeartGizzardOkraChicken ThighGinkgo NutsGrilled Thick TofuTsukune (Chicken Meatball)Sweet Vinegar Pickled Young GingerYagen CartilageQuail EggsCornMaruhatsu (Chicken Tail)Chicken DrumsticksEggplantShinankotsu (Shin Bone)Pekoros (Small Onions)Chicken WingsEsophagusChouchin (Chicken Tail)DuckEgg Over RicePineappleMaybe it’s because the head chef wasn’t there, but the grilling seemed a bit off today, especially the vegetables.The eggplant, which was perfectly tender last time, felt almost undercooked today.The pekoros were also undercooked and had too much crunch for my liking. ^^;Hmm... I really wanted to try the skewers grilled by the head chef. His perfectly grilled skewers served at their best!However, I was lucky to have the chouchin today, which I tried for the first time and it was delicious! (^o^)The egg over rice was also rich and incredibly tasty!Next time, I’m looking forward to the head chef’s grilling...It was a great meal! ^^
