In July at Kamakura Kitajima, the vibrant presentation using plenty of greens felt refreshing, lifting the heaviness of the rainy season. The sashimi here is always delicious! The red sea bream, paired with plenty of shrimp, was simple yet truly exquisite. The soft-shelled turtle soup had a beautiful flavor that changed my perception of the ingredients. The unique broth was fresh and delightful.I felt energized by the grilled eel and assorted Horumon stuffed into the Manganji pepper.Of course, I had to try all five types for the finale. The grilled ribbonfish sushi was delicious! ♩I always look forward to the desserts. The adorable manju that tasted just like real plums was a treat. It was a pleasant day, escaping Tokyo, with a comfortable cloudy sky that wasn't too hot.
