I was intrigued to visit this restaurant, as it has the highest Tabelog rating near Akita Station and is ranked 12th nationwide in the yakiniku category (as of August 13).On this day, I arrived around 11:15 AM without a reservation, but the restaurant was already fully booked. I was about to give up when I was informed that there would be availability after 1 PM, so I left my phone number and waited for a while.Finally, I arrived around 1 PM and was seated. The interior was clean, and they had a good selection of drinks, including premium whiskies like Hibiki 30 Year and Hakushu 25 Year. I ordered the Takuhi Lunch for JPY 2500.I initially thought that a lunch at such a high-end restaurant would lack volume, but this place was completely different. The plate was overflowing with slices of tongue, accompanied by pickles, salad, rice, and soup.The meat is grilled by the customers themselves on a charcoal grill. There are various types of tongue, so I was able to enjoy it without getting bored until the end. There were tender cuts and more substantial pieces, among others.The rice and soup that came with the meal were also delicious. I finished everything in no time! Reservations are a must! Great value for the price!
