In mid-July, I visited this legendary eel restaurant known for being hard to reserve, along with a friend. It has a great reputation and was highly recommended by my friend, so I took the opportunity to check it out.However, to be honest, there were aspects of the restaurant that I found difficult to fully understand.The dishes were overall very bold in both cooking methods and seasoning, showcasing the ingredients' flavors in a robust manner. However, I personally felt that there was a noticeable roughness, and I would have preferred a bit more delicacy in the flavors.Additionally, since we were seated at the counter, the smoke from the charcoal grill was quite irritating to my eyes. While it added to the atmosphere, being constantly exposed to smoke during the meal made for an uncomfortable dining experience.I can certainly understand why it is highly regarded, but it seems that the style was somewhat different from my personal preferences.
