This udon shop is ranked number one on Tabelog nationwide. As expected, it’s located in a relatively natural area, accessible only by car.[Queue]I visited at 7:40 AM and was the 36th in line. After the 9 AM opening, I waited about 15 to 20 minutes before I could eat.It seemed like there were around 100 people in line, so it looks like I could enjoy my meal without any issues at this time.[Order]- Large (Cold) (JPY 450) + Onsen Tamago (JPY 100) + Chicken Tempura (JPY 150) + Large Kakiage (JPY 180)The menu offers either small (1 serving) or large (2 servings), and you can choose between hot or cold.Perhaps to focus on the flavor of the noodles, there is no broth like in a typical kake udon; instead, you pour soy sauce from the bottles available in the restaurant. After receiving my udon, I topped it with green onions, grated ginger, onsen tamago, and tempura as I pleased, enjoying it in a spot of my choice outside.Aside from green onions and grated ginger, all other toppings are paid. The tempura is quite large, providing satisfaction that matches the price. The udon itself had a very strong chewiness.Personally, it was at a level that made my jaw tired, which may have distracted me from fully enjoying the flavor...However, at JPY 920, it’s still a great deal.I would be very happy if there was a place like this near my home...It was a great meal!It was delicious!
