I visited Tori Shige again, and it was delicious even in summer! The photos may look a bit brown, but trust me, it’s really tasty.This time, I went for the JPY 12,000 omakase, along with about four servings of beer and umeshu in a tetsubin. I was completely full.The exquisite liver is a must-try, and the upper white (shiro), jaw (ago), and cold dishes are always a delight.For the steak, I chose filet and outside skirt, as I find sirloin a bit heavy for my age...While the service level may drop depending on how busy the restaurant is, I highly recommend everyone to try it without worrying about that. Tori Shige is truly a gem.It was a great meal! I’ll definitely be back!
