I found my destined restaurant.This is my second time in Akita, but my first visit to Akita City.I researched and made a reservation at a place where I could enjoy local cuisine paired with delicious sake.First of all, the atmosphere of the restaurant is just perfect.It's not close to the station, so taking a taxi or bus is recommended, but it's totally worth it to come here.I was guided to a sunken kotatsu table, and the course began.The appetizers were beautifully presented on lovely plates.The edamame from Akita is delicious.The white miso was very tasty as well.There was tofu with a savory sauce, Yurikyu beef,hot tempura, and sashimi.Everything was exquisite.Most importantly, it pairs wonderfully with Japanese sake.I enjoyed the sake tasting as well.The knowledgeable staff helped with pairing the dishes with the right sake.If I ever come back to Akita,this is definitely a place I want to revisit.
