This was my second udon tour in Kagawa this year. I arrived at 8:25 AM on Sunday, and there was already quite a line. As expected, it’s ranked number one in the udon category on Tabelog. Although the usual opening time is 9 AM, they opened at 8:30 AM for us. It was nice to have shade from the building while waiting in line for a long time. While waiting, I placed my order for a small cold udon for JPY 350. After about 60 minutes in line, I received my udon. I topped it with green onions, ginger, soy sauce, MSG, and a raw egg for JPY 60, then headed to the tempura section. I added a small kakiage for JPY 70 and completed my payment. After paying, I crossed the street to enjoy my meal in an air-conditioned space. I mixed the raw egg with soy sauce and savored the firm noodles along with the warm kakiage. It was absolutely delightful. I was also happy to see they offered a half-size kakiage. It was a great meal!
