I had been curious about this place and finally made it there.I made a reservation for a weekday and went solo.Before arriving, I received a text message asking whether I preferred a seat on the basement or second floor.On this day, I was guided to the second floor.A Michelin sign shines at the entrance.I ordered the lunch course for JPY 6800 along with a pairing (same price as the course).The first dish served was a macaron made with deer blood, which I had seen online.Taking a bite, I was surprised to find there was no gamey taste at all. The balance between the sausage paste in the middle and the macaron shell was excellent.After that, each dish was accompanied by a detailed explanation, and the pairing drinks were also thoroughly described.I never expected to be served a sweet sake in between, but it had a richness that didn’t overpower the wines I had before and after, while still being fruity.Every dish was outstanding and full of surprises, but since my food review skills are limited, I highly recommend that anyone interested should visit at least once.I would love to come back in a different season.It was a great meal.
