I visited with a friend and had a reservation for the lunch special course. Since it had a double main, I was a bit worried about finishing it, but it was so delicious that I polished it off. The baguette was also my favorite kind (crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside).First, we enjoyed a macaron made with venison blood as an amuse-bouche. I might even prefer it over a sweet macaron! Next was a chilled corn soup, followed by sea bream with rice broth. On top of that was a salad of grilled bonito with zucchini (for me) and pâté (for my friend). We also had a pike perch wrapped in pastry with beurre blanc sauce, sautéed duck, and desserts: kiwi (for me) and mango (for my friend), along with madeleine and lemon pound cake, and coffee. The pike perch wrapped in pastry was especially delightful, melting in my mouth. My friend also enjoyed it. The duck was perfectly balanced with the sauce. Before I knew it, two and a half hours had flown by. I look forward to coming back for more delicious dishes. It was a great meal!
