I visited for my husband's birthday.The atmosphere of the restaurant was exciting!It’s a renovated traditional Kyoto house with a courtyard, and we were given the best seat available. (Thank you!)We opted for the wine pairing, starting with Champagne.The Champagne and the cold noodles (just a couple of bites) were refreshing and perfect for the heat!Every dish was something I had never tasted before, completely different from Chinese cuisine.The pairings were well thought out, and the marriage of flavors with the dishes was simply outstanding!Especially the Aligoté and the fried Ugui fish were impressive!I can’t go often, but I will definitely return for special occasions.Additionally, I received a bouquet of roses as a birthday gift.Such thoughtful gestures made for a truly memorable day.At the end, Chef Motoi came to greet us, which made the day even more special! I regretted not asking for a photo together later on.I’ll be sure to do that next time! Thank you very much! It was a great meal!
