Reservations are essential and can be quite difficult to secure at this renowned establishment. However, both the second-generation chef and the owner are incredibly friendly, making the atmosphere very relaxed. This place is so popular that it hardly needs an introduction. Although I’ve never seen it on TV, it consistently ranks high in online searches for eel restaurants. The only course available includes around 7 skewers of grilled eel, followed by white grilled eel, kabayaki (grilled eel glazed with sauce), rice, and liver soup. Please note that a la carte options, like those seen in other customers' photos, are currently unavailable. The eel served here is primarily farmed. For returning customers, there is an option for wild eel, but availability can vary, and the price is market-dependent, which adds an element of excitement.Payments are cash only, so be aware of that. I've noticed some customers having to run to the convenience store to withdraw cash due to insufficient funds.Personally, I would rate this a perfect 5.0, but I’ve chosen to give it a 4.9 in hopes that it will become even more delicious in the future.
