A regular at Michelin two-star establishments, I had high expectations when I visited this long-established sushi restaurant for lunch. While the ingredients themselves were not bad, overall, I must admit I was not very satisfied. The cohesion of the sushi and the impression when it entered my mouth were weak, and there were hardly any moments where I felt it was delicious. Perhaps because it was lunchtime, it seemed that the sushi was prepared by a younger chef rather than the head chef. I can't say for sure, but I felt that might have had an impact on the experience. Since the quality of the ingredients should not differ much between lunch and dinner, it might have been a significant difference in the skill and finishing touches of the sushi. I was a bit disappointed given my high expectations, but I believe that my impression could change during dinner or on another occasion.
