I had the pleasure of visiting a famous tempura restaurant near Kumamoto Castle in Kumamoto Prefecture. This place has even been selected as a Bronze restaurant on Tabelog, so my expectations were high! I haven't been to many renowned tempura spots, and I was a bit nervous because of its reputation, but to my surprise, the atmosphere was very homey and welcoming, making me feel at ease. As for the food, we started with two appetizers before diving into the tempura, and I was already blown away by the first shrimp! It was perfectly crispy with a delightful texture, and the batter was light and incredibly delicious. Reservations are relatively easy to make, and I truly recommend this place!
