The popular restaurant "Aldoac" in Yoyogi Hachiman was renamed "anchoa" by owner-chef Sakai five years ago and relocated to Kamakura. It is a well-loved Spanish restaurant that won the BRONZE & 100 Best Restaurants award in 2026! ♡I visited with Eri-chan and Array911-san, whom I met for the first time on this day. ♡ Although it was our first time, Array-san had previously enjoyed lunch here and was excited to share how delicious it was (っ ॑꒳ ॑c) so we were looking forward to it!☆ We toasted with a rosé sparkling wine! ♪(*^^)o∀*∀o(^^*)♪The wine was explained in detail by a sommelier, which was a nice touch. ♡★ Anchovy CocaThis amuse-bouche featured the chef's choice of the best anchovy available in Japan, and it was truly the most delicious anchovy I've ever had! It paired perfectly with the wine. ♡★ 6 Types of PinchosJust seeing them made my excitement soar! ⤴⤴1. Snail Pincho 2. Homemade Tuna Pincho 3. Tender Octopus Pincho 4. Mushroom with Homemade Chorizo 5. Mackerel with Spanish Cheese 6. I can't recall the last one that was on top of cheese (I should have taken notes!). Each one was crafted with care, and they were all incredibly delicious! ♡★ The tapas started with Red Sea Bream & Zucchini Sauce with Okra, and each dish was bursting with originality and flavor! ♡★ Yellowtail & Eggplant SauceThe eggplant was roasted and made into a sauce, giving it a sweet and deep flavor. ♡★ Specialty Piquillo Peppers ♡These were stuffed with fish and shrimp paste, and the sauce complemented them perfectly—truly a standout dish! ♡★ Stone Bream & Spanish RatatouilleServed with a cilantro sauce. ♡I’m usually not a fan of cilantro, but this was absolutely delicious! ♡★ Odawara Wild Boar & Manganji PepperI was thrilled to enjoy such delicious game meat! ⤴︎⤴︎★ PaellaThey showed it to us first and then served it.
