I finally visited the long-awaited "Tonkatsu Narikura!"It’s quite challenging to make a reservation at this restaurant, so I was really looking forward to this day.Upon tasting the tonkatsu, I was first struck by its appearance. The coating was beautifully done, giving it a more refined impression compared to typical tonkatsu.Taking a bite, I found the coating to be light and crispy, not heavy at all. The meat was incredibly tender and juicy! I was amazed at how moist it was, even though it was thoroughly cooked.Tonkatsu can sometimes feel a bit heavy halfway through due to its volume, but here, the light coating allowed me to enjoy it until the very last bite. Not only was there one type, but the different cuts offered varying textures and flavors, making it fun to compare them. Despite being fried, it was delicate and provided a new sensation that was different from any tonkatsu I had eaten before. While the price isn’t exactly casual lunch fare, the unique experience you can only have here makes it worth trying at least once.Having been curious about this place for so long, I was very satisfied with my visit. I would love to come back if I can secure another reservation!
