I ended up having lunch around Ekoda and found this place. In conclusion, it’s one of the best restaurants I’ve been to! It might even be the best soba shop I’ve visited in the last few decades. We ordered two servings of Tamagoyaki (Japanese omelette) and one serving of Age Soba (soba noodles with fried tofu).First, the Tamagoyaki had a subtle dashi flavor that was delightful, and by the end, it felt like I was eating egg tofu.Next was the Age Soba. The soba had a firm texture and rich flavor, and the broth was excellent. The fried tofu had a satisfying crunch and paired perfectly with the broth. Before I knew it, I had finished the broth as well. Finally, we had the Seiro Soba (cold soba). The broth was on the stronger side, reminding me of Yabu Soba.Honestly, I wanted to order more, like Inaka Soba (country-style soba) and Niboshi Soba (soba with dried sardines), but I’ll save that for next time.I highly recommend this place for soba lovers!
