I finally made a reservation at Yoda, a place I had wanted to visit for a long time. Since it was my first time, I ordered two special tenderloins and a rare breed tenderloin. It was LYB pork.To be honest, I had never spent more than JPY 3000 on tonkatsu before, but this time, with the set meal, it was nearly JPY 6000, so my expectations were quite high. When the dish was served, I was amazed by how beautiful the tonkatsu looked—I've never seen anything like it! I started by tasting it with salt, and it was incredible! Truly delicious! It reminded me of roast beef with a crispy coating! The quality of the meat was outstanding, and the artistic presentation of the coating was divine! Although there was wasabi and sauce available, the salt really allowed me to appreciate the flavor directly.What’s impressive about this restaurant is that it’s not just about the tonkatsu! The cabbage was crunchy and sweet, and when I squeezed some lemon on it, it tasted fantastic! The rice was fluffy and sweet, and the pickled vegetables were delicious too. The dessert at the end was the cherry on top! I will definitely come back!
