One of the most difficult restaurants to book in Chiba, I finally managed to secure a reservation at "PRESENTE Sugi." Just getting a reservation felt like a miracle.Upon visiting, I found that this place is truly one-of-a-kind, with not only exceptional food but also a unique atmosphere and playful spirit.The dishes, which cleverly blend Italian and French influences with Japanese elements, are bursting with creativity. Each plate surprises you with combinations you never thought possible, making every dish an exciting experience.What’s even more impressive is the diverse use of local ingredients from Chiba. Each dish showcases the charm of these local products, prepared with various techniques that leave you in awe of their deliciousness.One standout was the "Sugi-zushi." It beautifully incorporates Japanese elements while maintaining the restaurant's unique character, and it was incredibly tasty. This dish will definitely stick in my memory.I was also moved by the torafugu (pufferfish). The quality of the ingredients was evident, and the chef's creativity elevated the dish to another level. It felt like a dish crafted by someone who truly understands their ingredients.Additionally, the restaurant offers more than just great food; it’s entertaining as well. There’s even a model from Dragon Quest displayed inside! This playful touch adds to the overall entertainment of the dining experience.The fusion of Italian, French, and Japanese cuisine, along with a sense of fun, all culminates in a final result that is simply "delicious."It’s no wonder that reservations are so hard to come by.The joy of being able to visit this restaurant, especially given how difficult it is to book, was immense. Securing a reservation truly felt like a miracle, and the dining experience exceeded all my expectations.I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy dishes made with Chiba's ingredients, as well as to those who want to experience a chef's innovative approach that goes beyond typical Italian or French cuisine.If I can get another reservation, I will definitely return.
