I never know when I can visit Sushi Nishizaki next, but this time was wonderful as always. Although my favorite ankimo (monkfish liver) wasn’t available, aged namako (sea cucumber) made an appearance instead, pairing perfectly with Japanese sake. The deliciousness of the grilled eel was remarkable—it was both creamy and fluffy. Personally, the star of the meal was the sardines. The richness of the fat was simply outstanding.Everything is always top-notch. It was a great meal!
