I’m currently in Akita and was intrigued by the high ratings. Perhaps because it was a weekday, I could only choose the JPY 6500 course at 4:00 PM, but I was able to make a reservation. The stylish exterior made me think it was just a regular house, so it was hard to realize it was a restaurant. I was seated at the counter. I started with a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon red wine, followed by the restaurant's exclusive nigori sake from Ichihaku Suisei. The nigori sake was refreshing and paired well with the meat's fat. The staff were friendly and provided excellent hospitality. The meat, kimchi, cold noodles, and sorbet were honestly delicious, but nothing was particularly extraordinary. It really comes down to the cost-performance ratio. It was a great meal!
