*For the record of how my perspective on life was shattered during my first visit, please refer to my previous review. This time, I’m sharing the results of my examination on how much I’ve recovered from that experience.*"You get used to it after going once."People often say this about roller coasters, haunted houses, and high-end restaurants. So, I headed back to SUGALABO V once again. To cut to the chase, humans do not get accustomed to luxury. From the moment I stepped into the Louis Vuitton elevator, I felt out of place with my income. Even though I should have been calmer this time, the staff's graceful movements made me feel like I was moving at 0.75 times the normal speed. The food remains a work of art. It’s less about "eating" and more about "installing the chef's life through my mouth."With each dish, I nodded along as I listened to the explanations, but what I truly understood was not the food itself, but rather that "it’s a courtesy to appear to understand here."Still, after just one bite, everything else fades away. There are moments that make you think, "Perhaps I’ve lived until today just for this dish."Points I would like to see improved:1. The issue of still being moved even on the second visit. "Today, I’ll savor it calmly." I came with that intention, but my plan ended with the first dish. It seems that emotions don’t learn.2. The feeling of becoming luxurious myself. After leaving the restaurant, my walk turns into that of a model. However, by the time I reach Shinsaibashi Station, I’m back to my usual self.3. The difficulty of landing back in reality. On my way back, I passed by a beef bowl shop. Yesterday, I would have rushed in, but today, I just greeted it in my mind with "Maybe next time" and walked away.Cost Performance (CP) If you only look at the price, it’s high. However, this restaurant sells not just food, but memories that you’ll remember for years as "Today was a special day." My wallet may feel lighter, but the weight of that day’s life feels a little heavier. If asked whether I would go for a third time… I’ll have to consult with my bank account first.
