Honing his skills in Kanazawa, the owner opened this restaurant in Nara for some reason. This is now the second location, and I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years since the days of the previous restaurant near the city hall. Initially, it wasn't a famous establishment, but I was drawn in by the owner's passion and the delicious food. Perhaps my instincts were right, as the restaurant has grown in size and fame over the years. The quality of the dishes speaks for itself, so there's no need to elaborate further. I appreciate that they serve a variety of dishes gradually. They excel at making broth from bones and often prepare their own karasumi (dried mullet roe) and kuchiko (dried fish roe). I highly recommend sitting at the counter to feel the owner's enthusiasm. There are also private rooms that are perfect for business meetings.
