I visited Mizai as a surprise from my husband.Since taking photos of the dishes was not allowed, I captured the exterior instead.It had a very quiet and elegant atmosphere, typical of Kyoto.The world of Chakai (tea ceremony cuisine) was something I had never experienced before.I felt a bit nervous at the start, but from the second dish onward, I was encouraged to eat at my own pace, which helped me relax gradually.The variety of dishes was simply astonishing.It's incredible to think that such a feast is prepared every day.Each dish was wonderful and enjoyable, truly a theme park of food— the pinnacle of Japanese cuisine.The flavors were absolutely outstanding.It feels too presumptuous to rate it, but I will write this down as a record.Mizai was a wonderful encounter that I had never experienced before.Centered around the tea ceremony, it was a truly remarkable moment that expressed the seasons, culture, and hospitality of Kyoto through the cuisine.I would love to visit again when the seasons change.It was so delicious!Thank you for the wonderful meal!
