I made a reservation over a month in advance, feeling quite confident. This is a highly-rated yakiniku restaurant, known as the best in Akita.I opted for the Tomohisa Course at JPY 6500. To sum it up, the cost-performance is outstanding. We enjoyed around 16 different types of meat, including some premium cuts. The course included appetizers (kimchi and namul), soup, meat, bibimbap, cold noodles, and sorbet, leaving us very satisfied. The beef was excellent, and the chicken and pork were delicious as well. Towards the end, we were served tenderloin. The liver, heart, and maruchou (intestines) were also tasty. The drinks were reasonably priced (though there are some expensive options like Yamazaki), and we were very satisfied even with drinks priced in the four-digit range. They offer local beer and sake, making it enjoyable for visitors from outside the prefecture.I wonder what the Makuh Course at JPY 10000 includes.It might depend on the season, but reservations are essential during the early hours. The restaurant was fully booked on the day of my visit. I hope to try the Makuh Course someday... and I’d like to order more drinks next time to help maintain this great cost-performance.
