I visited Unagi Tei Tomoei for lunch during the Obon holiday, having made a reservation in advance. The menu is also reserved beforehand, but you need to wait in line for your seat upon arrival. I got there at 10:30 and waited for just over an hour. I recommend arriving early.As expected from a highly-rated restaurant, this was the fluffiest eel I've ever had, almost like it wasn't fish at all. Moreover, the amount of eel was more than the rice, piled high in the box. I was surprised to find two pieces of eel stacked in the middle. It felt incredibly luxurious! ☺︎You can choose to have a large serving of rice from the start, or you can request a refill of rice with sauce later.I highly recommend visiting this restaurant at least once! ◎ What I had ◎ Unaju (grilled eel over rice) Freshly prepared liver★ Tabelog rating at the time of visit: 4.39
