Finally made it to Jiyu San! I found an available table over a month ago and decided to make a reservation, promising myself I would come no matter how busy work got. Luckily, I finished work early on the day and arrived about an hour ahead of my reservation time, but I was able to enter smoothly. It’s truly a kind restaurant.Of course, I came for the soba, but every dish was delicious and absolutely fantastic! Especially the marinated herring; my companion said they had never tasted such delicious herring before. From the very first bite, their eyes widened, and they exclaimed, "This is so good! As expected!" I felt so happy for them, even though it wasn’t my own restaurant! The main soba was, of course, exquisite, and the soba-yu (soba water) was even more delicious than I imagined. With all the dishes being so tasty and the service being perfect, I truly felt it was worth coming here.
