I visited for lunch this time (for two people). This is one of the restaurants I absolutely wanted to go to when I came to Nagoya. The moment I decided to go to Nagoya, I made a reservation. Haha! I had been looking forward to this place for months! While it might not be a common choice for a Nagoya trip, this authentic Western-style restaurant is definitely a must-visit!All the lunch menu items looked delicious, and it was really hard to choose a main dish, so I opted for the "Weekday Limited Western Set" that allows you to sample a bit of everything. My companion chose the same menu. The Western Set included:- Special Wagyu Hamburger Steak- Ultimate Wagyu Beef Stew- Signature King Crab Cream Croquettealong with a marinated cabbage salad and either rice or bread. It was a fantastic selection! First, the Special Wagyu Hamburger Steak. This has officially become my number one hamburger! I’ve tried various types of hamburgers, from the so-called "drinkable hamburger" to the chunky, meaty ones like those from Sawayaka, but this hamburger is truly the perfect balance. It has juicy meat juices that feel like you could drink them, along with a tender texture, and it also has the satisfying bite of a chunky hamburger. I was left wondering, "How did they achieve this perfect blend?" It was incredibly delicious and truly impressive! They also provided detailed instructions on how to enjoy it:- First, try it plain.- Next, add the sauce.- Finally, enjoy it with the rock salt on the table.Personally, I found the rock salt to be the most delicious! Next, the Ultimate Wagyu Beef Stew. At first glance, it looked pitch black! To give you an idea, it was as dark as black sesame dumplings. I was excited to taste it because I couldn’t imagine what it would be like until I tried it. The meat was so tender that it could be easily broken apart with the small spoon provided, yet it had a strong presence when you put it in your mouth. And that black sauce! Even after tasting it, I couldn’t quite grasp the flavor, but it was clearly simmered for a long time and had a complex mix of ingredients. Was it wine? The aroma of alcohol hit my nose as I took a bite, followed by a rich flavor that enveloped my palate, making it a delightful experience. It’s hard to describe, but it was undoubtedly a unique beef stew, and I was glad to have tasted it! The Signature King Crab Cream Croquette was also incredibly delicious. Typically, cream croquettes are heavily cream-based, but here, the cream and crab flavors were perfectly balanced at about 50:50, allowing the deliciousness of the king crab to shine through! What surprised me the most was that when I squeezed lemon over the croquette, it transformed from a rich cream croquette to a refreshing one. I know it might be hard to understand, but the combination of the rich crab flavor and the lemon was simply outstanding!!! Every dish promised excitement and deliciousness, and I was truly moved by their commitment to ensuring that every bite, from the first to the last, is enjoyable. I felt embarrassed for thinking I had tried so many different flavors before, as there are still so many new tastes and expressions to discover. The joy of food exploration never ends! Now, the most important part: this restaurant is so exceptional that just mentioning it doesn’t do it justice; every dish is meticulously delicious. Even the bread is outstanding! However, if you plan to visit, I highly recommend making a reservation for a so-called "secret menu." That is the "Seafood Omurice," priced at around JPY 3700. This is something you absolutely must order. Moreover, reservations are limited to one per table, not per person, so you’ll likely end up sharing it. The omurice is served piping hot, and it was steaming when it arrived at the table! The orange aurora sauce on top is rich with seafood essence, yet has a refreshing tomato cream flavor. It doesn’t feel heavy at all. When you break the perfectly runny egg, you find a simple ketchup rice made with just rice and onions. And from within, you’ll discover a large lobster and a big scallop! (See the third and fourth photos!) Each dish had one of each, so there was no fighting over them! Haha! The combination of the seafood, rice, and egg wrapped in the sauce was an indescribable bliss. It was beyond delicious, making me lean back in my chair to savor the incredible flavor! You won’t regret ordering it!!!! The interior is very calming, and the staff are all kind, polite, and friendly. I felt so lucky to have found such a wonderful place to relax. For those living in or visiting Nagoya, please make a reservation and visit this restaurant. Thank you! It was a great meal! I will definitely come back!
