Nearest station: 1-minute walk from Sangu Bashi Station Closed: Irregular holidays Total bill: JPY 37,600 This restaurant is recognized as one of the top 100 eel spots in the Tabelog 2025 awards, earning a silver medal. New reservations are not accepted, and companions cannot be included in future bookings. Chef Ogiwara, who has trained in Japanese, Chinese, and yakiniku cuisine, presents an exquisite full-course meal featuring eel. The course includes 12 dishes along with a seasonal fruit dessert. Despite being all eel, the dishes are light and never boring, showcasing the chef's diverse culinary background. The speed of service is also impressive, allowing for a smooth dining experience. The meal concludes with a double eel rice bowl, featuring both Kanto and Kansai styles, which can be taken home. The rice is perfectly cooked, and the sauce is excellent. Of course, I had a second helping of rice, but next year, I plan to order a large size and take half home! It was a great meal! (^O^)
