I had been eagerly anticipating the eel here ever since I made the reservation, counting down the days until my visit. The exterior is easy to miss if you don't know about it, but the interior is beautifully stylish. Despite being grilled eel, it was fluffy and didn't have an overly strong Kansai or Kanto flavor. The texture was crispy, with a delightful aroma, and the meat was tender. It was a perfect combination, and I enjoyed it immensely. I was also impressed by the shira-yaki (grilled eel without sauce). This shira-yaki was incredible—it's the best I've ever had. I will definitely come back!
