Reflecting on a year ago (September 2025) ( ꈍ◡ꈍ)♡I had the honor of dining at the renowned Robuchon, a place often celebrated on various social media as a must-visit for women before turning 30. As a rookie in my first year of work, I ventured there with a friend, both of us paying our own way✨️About a month ago, while browsing a reservation site with a colleague, we stumbled upon a rare opening on a day when all seats usually fill up immediately after reservations open. Coincidentally, it was the night of our final day of a challenging training program, and feeling a sense of destiny (Destiny✧*｡), we quickly secured our reservation.^_−☆On the day of our visit, we cautiously entered the majestic establishment nestled at the far end of Ebisu Garden Place, greeted by a lavish interior. The luxurious decor in black and gold made us, the ordinary folk, feel quite out of place ꈍ ꈍ♡. Although I had heard that many international guests frequent the restaurant, on this particular evening, it was filled with Japanese families and couples.We had pre-ordered a prefix course with one main dish. Starting with the amuse-bouche, a gofrett (which was, of course, exquisite and moving!), we were then served the signature dish, Caviar Imperial✨️. The synchronized moment when the dome covers were lifted was thrilling, and as I took a generous spoonful, the rich saltiness and umami of the caviar, the tender sweetness of the crab, and the depth of flavor from the jelly made from crustaceans created a perfect harmony, filling my mouth with happiness…♡Next came the appetizers: a tartlet of Kinka mackerel and eggplant, followed by escargot croquettes. The rich umami and sweetness of the Kinka mackerel were beautifully balanced by the soft flavor of the eggplant and the refreshing basil purée, leaving a surprisingly light aftertaste. The escargot croquettes also impressed with their light outer texture contrasting with the rich flavor of the snails inside✨️.At this point, the bread cart made its appearance✨️. With a wide variety of options, the selection process itself was pure joy⸝⸝> ̫
