I arrived at the restaurant just after 6 AM and took number 3. There were already two cars parked in the lot. We left and returned around 7:45, but there was still plenty of space in the parking lot.I purchased semi-dried noodles and udon soy sauce from the grocery store. The restaurant opened at 8:30 today.I gathered information about the process of enjoying udon from other reviews, so I’ll share my impressions right away. I ordered a small cold udon with a warm egg topping. Just as rumored, this is the epitome of Sanuki udon! It had a great chewiness and a rich wheat flavor, and the smooth texture made it disappear in no time. Following the advice to use less soy sauce, I added just a little, and mixing it with the warm egg gave it a slight kama-tama style. I was able to savor the deliciousness of the udon thoroughly, which made me feel so happy. I won’t miss this place when I come back to Kagawa!
