I visited Sangu Bashi Asaya, and it was a wonderful experience that left me in awe from start to finish with their thoughtfully crafted dishes. The white grilled eel was perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, showcasing a delightful roasting technique. Each dish, from the dashi and condiments to the creative garnishes, brought out the charm of eel from various angles. The unagi rolls, tempura, beautiful sashimi, and soup all reflected meticulous craftsmanship, with surprises in every bite. The final bento box featured a perfect balance of exquisite sauce, delicately grilled eel, and firm rice, creating a blissful flavor. The calm atmosphere of the restaurant and the warm hospitality made for a pleasant experience. This is a must-visit for eel lovers, and I look forward to returning in a different season.
