AoLocated in Nishiazabu, this renowned innovative French restaurant is notoriously difficult to book, but I finally had the chance to visit for a gourmet salon event. This was my first experience at a reservation-only innovative restaurant, and I can sum it up in one word: everything was delicious. The highlight was definitely the combination of Akazoe shrimp and bisque with freshly baked brioche. I was shocked by how incredibly tasty the bisque was (the brioche was also at an exceptional level of deliciousness).Among my other favorites from the course were the hairy crab risotto and the "Gold Rush" corn soup. The risotto had a wonderful crab flavor that was incredibly appetizing and delicious. The corn soup tasted just like biting into super sweet corn, which was right up my alley. The consomme with hamo, the red sea urchin fedelini, the grilled sawara, and the black abalone with homemade butter were all outstanding—there's so much to mention that it feels endless. I was truly impressed by how they used the finest ingredients to bring out the maximum flavor.
