The price is high, but the taste is exceptional. Recently, I've been eating a lot of eel, and in Western Japan, there's a newly opened top-tier place called Unashi Gensai, which charges JPY 7000. However, Asaya's prices are several times that, yet the value is outstanding. The comparison is truly remarkable. The quality is superb, and there are various ways to enjoy the eel, making it a place where you can learn about eel preparation. It's not an exaggeration to say that it deserves to be called the king of the East.
