I ordered venison as the main dish for the course.Additionally, I added three pasta dishes.Since the course already included one pasta, I ended up with a luxurious total of four pasta dishes, which was quite a treat! I also asked the sommelier for wine pairings. The course started with Crémant, dried tomatoes, and black olives.- Peach and tomato mousse with mozzarella cheese- Prosciutto and gnocchi fritti with corn soup- Cold pasta with purple sea urchin and whelk- Fried anago (conger eel)- Risotto with green asparagus and Parmesan cheese- A refreshing granita- Grilled seasonal vegetablesFor the main dish, I chose:- Ezo venison from Minato in HokkaidoThe additional pasta dishes were:- Spaghetti with mushrooms from Hasegawa- Squid pasta- Pici with fresh tomatoesTo finish, I selected a dessert and coffee:I chose Catalana and chamomile. As someone who enjoys a variety of dishes and drinks, this was the perfect course for me.All the dishes were fantastic, and the sommelier's excellent sense in pairing wines with both the course and the additional dishes was remarkable.Although it’s an Italian restaurant, there were many vibrant South African wines this time, which I personally found to be a delightful selection. It’s rare to find a place where you can enjoy such a satisfying experience with both the food and the added pasta.I would love to visit this wonderful restaurant again.
