I made a reservation for OMAKASE. I was lucky enough to secure a spot when a cancellation occurred. Usually, it's fully booked, so it's quite a popular place. Is this really the entrance? It's interesting, whether it's a design choice or just coincidence. One reason for its popularity is likely because they use firewood instead of charcoal. Unlike charcoal, firewood contains moisture, which requires a unique grilling technique. The skewers were indeed juicy and perfectly grilled—crispy on the outside yet moist and delicious. The clay pot soboro rice is their signature dish, seasoned only with salt and topped with chicken soboro grilled over an open fire. They even included charred firewood in the clay pot! It was delicious. It was a great meal.
