When I think of summer, I think of unagi! So, I decided to visit this restaurant that had caught my attention for a while. I had read that there were about 30 people in line by 10 AM, so I aimed to be among the first group and arrived at 9:30. At that time, there were about 15 people ahead of me, just making it into the first round. By around 10:15, the restaurant was open, and I was able to place my order and start eating around 10:45.The unagi had a wonderful aroma and no unpleasant smell, so I was advised to try it without sansho (Japanese pepper) first. Following their recommendation, I took a bite as it was. The meat was fluffy, and the savory scent of the unagi filled my mouth—it was a taste unlike anything I had experienced before. I did try adding a little sansho, but personally, I found that the unagi was more fragrant and delicious without it.This was the best unagi I have ever had in my life. I definitely want to come back. It was a great meal!
