A long-awaited trip to Kagawa for udon! The first stop was Suzaki Shokuryohin Ten, a place I had always wanted to visit. To enjoy as much as possible, I planned my visit on a weekday. I arrived around 8:10 AM on Monday and was the fourth in line. I spent some time at a nearby farmers' market while waiting for the opening. By the time the restaurant opened, there was a long line! However, the turnover was impressive, so the wait wasn’t too daunting. I debated between cold and hot udon, but I decided to go with the cold this time. I intended to savor the noodles, but I couldn’t resist the temptation of the egg. I also picked up a croquette! The thick, chewy noodles released more flavor with every bite, and they paired perfectly with the soft-boiled egg. The croquette was incredibly crispy and delicious! This restaurant was a perfect start to my udon journey.
