I visited "Shokudou aca" at Azabudai Hills.Starting with a refreshing cold pasta gazpacho from the summer menu, I enjoyed pairing it with drinks that complemented the dishes. They ask about portion sizes at the beginning, and surprisingly, you can opt for a "double serving." Of course, the price doubles as well, but it's great for those who want to eat heartily. You'll definitely leave feeling full. The steak and octopus paella were also exquisite. The chef recently went to Spain for about two weeks of training, where he indulged in Spanish cuisine every day. He sometimes visits around five restaurants in a day, so he definitely needs stomach medicine and returns with a few extra pounds! And of course, I couldn't miss the familiar take-home items from aca: curry and cheesecake.I believe Spanish cuisine suits Japanese palates well and is quite approachable. I hope to see more Spanish restaurants opening in Japan!
