This is one of the restaurants worth visiting from afar. It’s about an 8-minute drive from Yaizu Station and approximately 30 minutes by expressway from Shizuoka Station, the nearest Shinkansen station. Here, you can enjoy French cuisine with a Japanese twist, featuring an abundance of fresh seafood from Suruga Bay. Yaizu Port is renowned as the top bonito fishing ground in Japan, and not only bonito but also a variety of fresh fish caught nearby are expertly prepared by the chef and served in the best possible way. While the fish is delicious, I personally found the aroma of seaweed, which is incorporated into the bread and served in the risotto, to be exceptional. Combined with the pleasant atmosphere created by the warm and humid climate of Suruga Bay and Enshu Nada, it provided a delightful dining experience.
