This restaurant is notoriously difficult to book, but I miraculously managed to secure a reservation for lunch on the weekend with the omakase option.It’s located about a 5-minute walk from either Nihon Odori Station or Motomachi-Chukagai Station on the Minato Mirai Line.For this visit, I ordered two pieces of the rare breed (TOKYO X) tenderloin for JPY 6,400 as part of the omakase.The tenderloin cutlet had a light, fluffy coating, and the meat was incredibly tender and delicious.The tonkatsu comes with rice, pickles, and miso soup.Personally, I found the miso soup with shiitake mushrooms to be quite tasty as well.Honestly, whether JPY 6,000 to 7,000 is a good value for tonkatsu might be subjective, but the flavor of the tonkatsu itself is outstanding, making it a highly recommended spot for tonkatsu lovers.The service was attentive, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant.Although making a reservation is quite challenging, I would love to visit again.
