The restaurant is beautifully renovated from an old traditional house, creating a chic atmosphere. The existing courtyard adds to the charm. The decor is thoughtfully designed, making for a pleasant experience. I had pre-ordered the eel and soft-shelled turtle course, which included:Grilled eggplant,Grilled liver,Grilled soft-shelled turtle,Okra ohitashi,Grilled eel (shiroyaki),Uzaku (eel and cucumber salad),Soft-shelled turtle soup,Eel rice bowl.Everything was outstanding. The grilled liver featured various parts like liver and tenderloin on a single skewer, making it fun to eat. The grilled soft-shelled turtle and the shiroyaki were astonishingly delicious. I might even consider traveling to Matsumoto just for this!
