I made a reservation by phone for a weekday dinner at Yakitori Mizuki! Given its popularity and positive reputation, I had high expectations, but I was somewhat disappointed with the service. There were several points of concern regarding the interactions with the part-time staff. The yakitori was average, but the impression left by the student-like part-time staff was disappointing. Since I had high hopes, my evaluation is a bit stricter. I tried the Omakase course for JPY 5,500, but the quality felt similar to that of an izakaya. Perhaps it was also due to being seated in a semi-private room rather than at the counter. It was a great meal.
