I finally visited the renowned eel restaurant "Yamasei," which I had wanted to go to for a long time in Matsumoto City. It was a bit concerning to see only one group in line when I arrived at 11 AM, but as soon as I entered, the place was fully packed! The interior had a calm lighting that created a perfect atmosphere for enjoying the meal. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I ordered the Unaju (grilled eel over rice) and the Shira-yaki Gozen (grilled eel set meal). The moment I took a bite, the authentic flavor of the eel spread in my mouth, and I was truly moved. As I continued eating, I felt sad as it started to disappear. I will definitely visit again the next time I come to Matsumoto City. It was a great meal!
