A popular restaurant that has earned a Michelin star.I decided to visit on a Saturday, prepared for a long wait, as it is known for always having a line.Although the opening time was 11:30, I arrived around 10:45.Perhaps due to the rain, there was surprisingly only one group (three people) ahead of me.Even just before opening, the line wasn’t too long. The interior has a calm atmosphere with a wooden base. Many comments mentioned that the standard coarse soba was on the smaller side, so since there were two of us, we ordered two servings of coarse soba, hot soba, tamagoyaki (Japanese omelet), and grilled miso. The standard coarse soba was indeed delicious. You can fully appreciate the flavor of the buckwheat, and it has a nice firmness and good bite.I genuinely thought this was excellent soba. Then there was the popular hot soba. This dish features warm soba mixed with egg and sauce, resembling a sukiyaki style.I had never tried soba this way, so it felt quite innovative! It seemed worth a try.As for the tamagoyaki, it’s also a popular menu item.I hadn’t ordered it at first, but the staff asked if I wanted to order it, which made me laugh. However, it took quite a while to prepare, so it arrived after the soba. The dashi (broth) was rich, and the sweet tamagoyaki was absolutely worth the wait!As expected from a restaurant with a Michelin star, this soba shop has a high overall level of quality.
