On the last day of my solo trip in Michinoku, I headed to Akita for lunch at "Sumibi Yakiniku Kyuu." Of course, I made a reservation a few weeks in advance.There was a sign outside saying "Fully booked for today."When I made the phone reservation, I ordered the "Eternal Set for JPY 4,200." It comes with a soft drink, but I asked if I could switch to a local cider for an additional JPY 300, and I also inquired about changing it to beer instead. Unfortunately, that was a no-go! What a shame!The set includes a mini salad, kimchi, white rice, miso soup, and a soft drink.The meat was primarily tenderloin, along with a generous serving of liver, hanging tender, and chicken.The tenderloin was thickly sliced and incredibly tender! The other meats were also melt-in-your-mouth soft! Each piece was juicy and absolutely delicious!For dipping sauces, I tried:- Sauce- Sauce + Wasabi- Rock salt + WasabiAfter experimenting, I found that my favorite combination was sauce + wasabi + rock salt!At JPY 4,200 for lunch, it wasn't cheap for me, but it was worth every penny for the taste.The staff were all smiling and very pleasant! It was a great meal.
