I had been wanting to visit Tempura Kondo for a long time. A friend brought me here, mentioning it was the origin of the hotel on the mountain. It was fully booked, so we opted for the chef's tempura course. Watching the chef expertly fry the tempura was mesmerizing; I couldn't take my eyes off the process. Despite the restaurant's efficiency, the tempura kept coming out light and crispy without any greasiness. The sweet potato is said to take a while to fry, so it's best to order it in advance. It was incredibly delicious, and I definitely want to come back!
