I visited this renowned restaurant in Tsuchiura for dinner on a Friday. I was already aware of its reputation, as it is featured in Go! Go! Michelin, but it was my first time dining here, so I felt a bit nervous.I was surprised by how large the restaurant is! I had imagined a counter with a few table seats, but there’s actually a spacious tatami room. What stood out to me was their commitment to high-quality ingredients. Many of the liver dishes use locally sourced ingredients from Ibaraki Prefecture. The confit of sweetfish was truly delicious... and the final dish, a rice porridge with wild mushrooms, had such a gentle flavor. This is definitely a place I want to visit again.
